Open Door Program
The Open Door Program maintains 15 permanent SRO units at the Central Square YMCA for homeless men living with HIV/AIDS. Open Door residents are provided with on-site case management, instruction in daily living skills, and referrals to a host of additional support services. The Open Door Program offers formerly homeless men a chance at stability and an opportunity to build a positive housing history. Residents pay 30 percent of their total income towards rent.
To be eligible for the Open Door Program, applicants must have:
- Verification of HIV status
