HIV Today
A training series that covers innovative theory and trends in HIV/AIDS services and care

HIV Today is a monthly lecture series that attempts to respond to the latest questions and challenges regarding HIV and AIDS. Health information and research in the area of HIV/AIDS is constantly changing, and it often can be challenging to stay updated as a healthcare or social services provider, consumer, individual living with the disease, or person who has an interest in this area. In addition, topics for these lectures are generated by attendees in order to address the most important and prevalent subjects to our audience. HIV Today is facilitated by two nurse practitioners from Mass. General Hospital and various CCA Staff.
HIV TODAY consists of two semesters of 4 training sessions offered the first Wednesday of every month. Semester 1 occurs in the fall, starting in September or October. Semester 2 occurs in the spring, starting in January or February. Sessions are free and lunch is provided. Those who complete 3 out of 4 of the trainings in each semester will receive a certificate of completion from CCA. Semesters 1 and 2 consist of different content. All are welcome to attend, though pre-registration is required.
