Peer Support

The Peer Support Program provides a safe and comfortable place for people living with HIV/AIDS to receive social support.  In our Peer Support Program, we provide:

  • A Drop-in Spot where clients can relax and socialize
  • Individual Support provided by Peer Leaders
  • Linkages to case management services and other community resources
  • A variety of peer led support groups
  • Client luncheons, coffee, and refreshments
  • Free clothing and hygiene supplies
  • Movies and games
  • Internet and telephone access

Drop-In Spot Hours of Operation

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9am – 5pm

Tuesdays: 10 am – 5pm

Note:  All CCA programs open at 12 noon on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.

Peer Support Groups

  • Women’s Support Group, 2nd and 4th Tuesday 11:30am – 1pm

  • Men’s Support Group, 2nd and 4th Thursday 3pm – 4pm

  • Haitian Support Group, 1st Friday 11am – 1pm

  • Latino Support Group, 2nd and 4th Friday 12pm – 2pm

  • Gay and Bi Men’s Group, 1st and 3rd Tuesday 3pm – 4pm

  • Expressions Group (arts and crafts), 2nd and 4th Thursday 12pm – 1:30pm
