Cambridge Cares About AIDS, Inc. (CCA) is seeking a Special Event Associate in the Development Department. The anticipated start date for this position is July 15, 2008.

The mission of Cambridge Cares About AIDS (CCA) is to respond to the HIV/AIDS epidemic by serving those most impacted by social and economic inequality. CCA provides accessible prevention, education, advocacy and support services in accordance with harm reduction principles to help people meet self-identified goals.
 

Position Description
This one year 40-hour per week VISTA position is responsible for working with the Development Manager to increase CCA’s capacity to raise funds through a special event celebrating CCA’s 20th anniversary of providing services. The associate will solicit corporate sponsorship and in kind support, work with volunteer committee chairs, design, write, and publish the 20th Annual Report, and market the event through print, television, radio, and web outlets.
